Linda learning a new skill - how to skin and butcher a fallow deer carcase.The deer here in the Wyre Forest are culled each year to keep the herd to an agreed size. They have no natural predator.
This one was a doe and was shot by Forestry Commission Wildlife Ranger Phil Rudlin.
After skinning it Linda jointed it and we look forward to some tasty roasts!
